The block
9 1/2" finished (10" with seam allowances). 1 patches. Make 30.
Cutting chart
Cut strips across the width of fabric, then subcut. All measurements include 1/4" seam allowances.

Cut 8 strips 10" x WOF.
- Subcut 30 10" squares
Border3/4 yd
Cut 6 strips 3 1/2" x WOF; join them end to end, then cut the four borders to length.
Binding5/8 yd
Cut 6 strips 2 1/2" x WOF; join them on the diagonal and press in half lengthwise.
Backing, binding, batting
Backing
3 1/2 yd of 42" fabric: 2 panels 61 1/2" long, seamed crosswise, for a 61.5" x 71" back (4" extra on every side for the longarm or your frame). Or 2 yd of 108" wide backing, no seams.
Binding
6 strips 2 1/2" x WOF, joined on the diagonal and folded in half: 233" around the quilt plus 12" for the corners and the join.
Batting
A piece at least 61.5" x 71".
